Creating a good balance lifestyle

For this weeks blog I was able to hear Christian Stettler the host of the critical social worker and Gabe Tegosiak who is an activist in Burrow Alaska discuss about keeping things in a balance like they were talking about how Gabe keeps a balance with the natural environment and when Gabe explained his balance with the natural environment, I thought the way he keeps a balance in the environment is definitely a good way to balance things in life like Gabe keeps a balance with the natural environment by being more patient, being grounded, staying connected, and not forgetting what his ancestors are here for.

When I used ChatGBT 3.5 to gain more information on why you should maintain a good balance in life, it gave me some really good information and details like it stated that in the hustle and bustle of modern life it’s easy to become overwhelmed by the demands of work, relationships, and personal responsibilities and as we strive to excel in various aspects of our lives, we often neglect the importance of maintaining a good balance and also striking a harmonious equilibrium between different areas of life is crucial for our overall well-being and success.     Balancing our lives sometimes is very challenging. I like the information you share about it. We can all learn from it. It is very important to balance not only between work and home but also all the health issues that revolve around it. Being able to balance one’s mental health is so important as well.
    I like how Gabe talks about grounding with the earth. I believe this is so important. As a child, I always wanted to be barefooted; my grandmother would often say that is the Indian coming out in you.

This information is so good for everyone, no matter what stage of life they are in, because without this balance, how can we expect to succeed in any endeavor whether it be personal, educational, or professional? And while this means something different for everyone, the basics should include a good night’s rest, exercise, and eating foods that feed our bodies, while also finding those activities that feed our soul.

    Great post! Maintaining a balance between work and other aspects of life is crucial for overall well-being and success. When working in a field that can be challenging, having a healthy balance and good boundaries are important to maintain. This includes being able to know yourself, when you need to take a break when you need to have outlets to grow and be you. For my direction in Social Work, I look at clinical work and working in the field. Now, balance and boundaries are crucial for me.

    Hi, I think everyone has to balance their lives but everyone is different so this much be the gym for someone or reading a book. I think that knowing when to stop pushing yourself is extremely important because if you push so much and too hard then you will never be able to collect yourself in the end.
